I love going to this Popeyes on base during lunch time. All the food is so fresh and they have very fast service. You can get a chicken sandwhich way faster on base than off base. If the line is long, it can take a bit to get to the front counter. Once you're up there though, you get your food almost right away. Often times they put together my order as I'm speaking!!! I've been going here for a while and the employees are all soo kind to me. I definitely recommend this place for military members during their lunch break!!!

It's baaaaack!!! The new Popeye's Chicken Sandwich was introduced in August. Sold out in 2 weeks. Brought back on November 3rd, National Sandwich Day. Yay for us who missed it the first time! The Chicken Sandwich is a good value at $3.99. Classic or Spicy, the fried chicken in the brioche bun is made the same way. It's the spicy Cajun sauce that makes it spicy, if that's what you prefer (that's me!). The pickles provide a nice crunch and a hint of sourness. Just keep in mind, it's not a gourmet sandwich, which is fine by me. The simplicity works! I usually love ranch dressing with just about anything, so my +2 recommended trying the Blackened Ranch (onion, garlic, and pepper spices). The buttermilk-battered fried chicken patty was made to perfection! Nice crunch on the outside. Hot and moist on the inside. I easily finished one sandwich along with a side of Red beans & Rice and a medium Sweet Tea! The lines for this sandwich in Hawaii are currently cray, so as soon as I spyed a Popeye's in Vegas, I made a beeline to its door. This particular Popeye's is in the same parking lot of the Exchange at Nellis Air Force Base, and shares building space with Burger King. The dining area is spacious for the active duty personnel and civilians with a DoD ID.

Awesome & extremely speedy service inside the restaurant. Food was on point too. Might have been my favorite Popeye's experience in the world after visiting a dozen or so of their restaurants.

This is good fried chicken when you got a craving. I always go for spicy buts it's not really spicy so don't be afraid to try it, I usually always put hot sauce too! This time I tried the red beans and rice. It had a nice smoky flavor, but it was served lukewarm. I also got Cajun rice, it was ok. Anyway I don't come here for the sides.... Lots of seating as its a combined restaurant with burger king. Not sure how packed it is during peak times since we came right after about 1230p, but it sure beat the crowded, noisy BX seating.

Our new ritual after Sunday mass is stop here for lunch. It's conveniently located just a block from the church in the Commissary parking lot on Nellis AFB. Daily specials are offered everyday and on Sunday for $2.99 you get two pieces of crispy fried juicy chicken, creamy yummy mashed potatoes and gravy, a soft buttery biscuit with some honey and for $1 you get some sweet tea! How do you like that? I'm comin' back for more!
